Phase 1: Sales
Listening First, Then Guiding

Every Highland home begins with a conversation. During the Sales phase, our role is to understand your goals, lifestyle, timeline, and priorities. This is where we help you:

• Explore communities and available homesites
• Understand floorplans and customization opportunities
• Compare pre-sold builds versus spec homes
• Gain clarity around pricing, timelines, and next steps
  

Rather than pushing decisions, we focus on education and alignment, ensuring you feel informed and confident before moving forward.

This phase sets the foundation for a smooth, successful build.

Phase 2: Pre-Construction & Design
Planning With Precision

Once your home is under contract, the focus shifts to preparation and planning.

Your project will be turned over to our award-winning designer, Karsyn Yost and her assistant, Kenna. They will schedule your Selections Week where you’ll spend time with them completing all of your Selections. 

During Pre-Construction, we bring together the sales, design, and construction teams to ensure every detail is documented, coordinated, and aligned before construction begins. This phase includes parts that you’ll be closely involved in along with many that will happen behind the scenes:

• Structural and architectural planning
• Selections appointments at the Highland Homes Design Center
• Finalizing specifications and upgrades
• Confirming schedules, vendors, and materials
  

This is where thoughtful planning protects both quality and timeline. By addressing decisions early and collaboratively, we minimize surprises and keep your build moving forward with confidence.

Phase 3: Construction
Built With Care, Craftsmanship, and Accountability

With plans finalized, Selections completed, and permits in hand, construction begins.

Your home is built by an experienced team, headed by a dedicated and skilled Project Manager, who understands and drives Highland’s standards and expectations.

Throughout the Construction phase, we emphasize:

• Quality craftsmanship at every stage
• Clear communication and milestone tracking
• Regular inspections and oversight
• Attention to both visible finishes and behind-the-walls systems

Phase 4: Warranty
Support Beyond Move-In

Our commitment doesn’t end when you receive your keys. 

The 12-Month Warranty phase provides continued support as you settle into your new home. We stand behind our work and remain available to address questions and warranty items with professionalism and care. 

This final phase reflects a core belief at Highland Homes: the homeowner relationship matters long after the build is complete.
