When we began designing the Somerset, we weren't trying to create the biggest home in the Parade. (That distinction belonged to our other 2026 Parade Home, The Ranch. )
Our vision was simple: build a home that feels timeless from the moment you walk through the front door. A home with warmth, character, and thoughtful details that never feel trendy or overdone. A home where warm luxury isn't measured by excess, but by how beautifully it supports everyday life.
The response during the 2026 Boise Parade of Homes exceeded anything we expected. Time after time, visitors told us the Somerset was their favorite home on tour. While every person noticed something different, they all described the same feeling. It simply felt like home.
That may be the greatest compliment we can receive.
A Timeless English Cottage Reimagined
The Somerset draws inspiration from classic English Cottage architecture, but interprets it through a more refined, modern lens.
Natural stone, graceful rooflines, rich textures, and carefully proportioned architectural details create a home that feels established rather than newly built. Soft arches, layered materials, and thoughtfully crafted trim work add character without overwhelming the design.
We wanted every elevation, every window, and every detail to contribute to a home that would be just as beautiful decades from now as it is today.
Timeless design has always been one of our guiding principles, and the Somerset reflects that philosophy in every way.

Surrounding it is a thoughtfully designed workspace featuring Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances, beautifully crafted cabinetry, generous storage, and solid-surface countertops selected for both beauty and durability.
Behind the scenes, the walk-through butler's pantry quietly transforms how the kitchen functions. Additional storage, preparation space, and organization allow the main kitchen to remain clean, open, and welcoming even while entertaining.
